Fabregas leading player of the year poll ahead of Rooney and Tevez
Despite Manchester United’s 3-1 win against Premier League rivals Arsenal yesterday, Sport.co.uk readers believe Cesc Fabregas is currently the frontrunner for player of the year. Although off-colour yesterday the diminutive Arsenal talisman has received 48% of the vote, ahead of Manchester United’s star man Wayne Rooney. Also in the running is Rooney’s former teammate, Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez, and Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen.
